Koko is the beautiful daughter of Sen. Florence Ita-Giwa who tied the knots with her beau, Chimaobi Shawcross-Obioha Jnr., less than three weeks ago. Although a silver-spoon kid, she is respected for her entrepreneurial drive.

It didn’t come as a surprise that her young marriage could stop her from plying her trade. In her early 20s, Koko, whose signature style is bold and expensive, has since resumed promoting her Hair by Koko business line on social media.

A visit to her Instagram page recently showed that she intends to take her thriving business, which is located on Banana Island, Lagos, to the next level. Koko underwent a foundation law course in Cambridge and later studied International Relations as her first degree and earned a Masters’ in International Development.

The crème-de-la-crème of the society gathered recently for the wedding of Orange Drugs boss, Sir Tony Ezenna’s eldest daughter, Uchenna and her beau, Chukwueku Gboneme.

Performing at the one-of-its-kind wedding which took place at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos was the duo of PSquare. They were at their best. The ceremony had a roll call of society’s who-is-who in attendance.

It was another lavish ceremony, which saw titled chief giving out another of his daughters. The traditional marriage ceremony between, Chinwe, his younger daughter, to Emeka Aroh, held last December, at Elenma Castle, Akokwa, Ideato-North LGA, Imo State, the country home of the Ezennas.

A man of style, Ezenna’s love for luxury cars which includes Bentley and Rolls Royce, has earned him some respect.

The Cross River State First Lady would always go down in history as the first wife of a sitting governor to reduce from a plus size to petite. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala is the fun-loving son of former Oyo State governor, Adebayo Alao-Akala. Blessed with good looks, he recently wedded Hadiza Raisa, one of the daughters of the billionaire businessman, Rasaq Okoya. Held earlier in the year, it was a no-expense-spared ceremony and many still make reference to it.

A stylish dresser, he is a close friend to top Nigerian entertainers. It was not a surprise, however, when he announced on social media, precisely on Instagram, the floating of Parrot FM, a radio station.

The radio station, which is situated in Oyo State, is said to have been established by the former governor but the young Alao-Akala holds sway at the company. A big player in oil business, he is said to also run other businesses on behalf of the family. Lately, he has been sighted along with his wife, on the red carpet at several high-class gigs in the south west.

Uche Ekwunife is a member of the House of Representatives; she represents Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal Constituency. Young and pretty, she was a gubernatorial aspirant some years ago in Anambra State. Ekwunife is said to be close to Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan and sometimes travels with her on private visits within and outside Nigeria.

Both Emordi and Ekwunife have been a constant feature on the Lagos social scene and were sighted lately at some high-octane weddings. Not a few thronged their table to pay homage.

She is married to Segun Awolowo, the grandson of the late Obafemi Awolowo. The younger Awolowo was a former Executive Secretary (Transport) at the Federal Capital Development Authority, Abuja, a few years back.

Graceful and with an enviable pedigree, Bola Awolowo, who is one of the successful daughters of late Engr. Adeoye Fawora, avoids the press. Known for her gorgeous dress sense, she is a constant feature at any soiree organised by Senator Ita-Giwa. Many adduced this to be as a result of the friendship between Abah Folawiyo, Bola’s mother-in-law and Ita-Giwa. Both Segun and Bola were present at Ita-Giwa’s daughter, Koko’s 21st birthday-cum-graduation two years ago.

Recently the lovey-dovey pair was sighted at Koko’s star-studded wedding in Lagos. Dressed in the purple aso-ebi, Mrs. Awolowo Jnr. was all smiles all at the event.

A debonair gentleman, Nicholas Okoye’s appearance on the social radar came about when he was appointed Group Executive Director, Operations, Transcorp Nigeria Plc.
