Until she got married in 2009, Jumoke Alao plied her trade with Africa Independent Television and Raypower, a radio station. The lovely-skinned presenter wormed her way into the hearts of her admirers   while she ruled the airwaves.

Now a mother of two, she went underground after she got married to Dapo Ogunshola. But there is unconfirmed talk that she might have relocated to the United States of America.

Dolores is one of the daughters of Asaba, Delta State- born billionaire industrialist, Chief Sonny Odogwu. Even though not the most prominent of his children, she caused quite a stir in her younger days. This, she did together with her sisters, including Uche Balogun.

Demure in her looks, many would recollect that Dolores’ initial attempt at marriage was fraught with miseries which caused her to part ways with her ex-husband, Stan Rerri.  Years after, she found solace in well-heeled businessman, Kolapo Edgal, who is absolutely smitten by her.

Since their relationship first became public almost two years ago, the pair is still into each other. Recently, they both stepped out at a fundraising/launch event at a popular event centre in Lagos. Both looked at ease and in love.

While it was rumoured that she had relocated to America to be with her kids, others were of the opinion that she was living a low-profile life in Abuja.

Nona sprung a surprise last week when she attended a launch party in company with her sister at a popular hangout in Lagos. Looking rejuvenated, Nona had noticeably put on some weight.

Former class mates from Government College, Ibadan, as well as childhood friends of Are travelled from within and outside the country to attend the ceremony.

The highpoint of the event, which featured drama, music and dances, was the moment friends, family members and associates took trips down memory lane to pay tributes. Recalling his sporting and academic days at Government College Ibadan, Are was lauded as a principled, honest and straightforward man.

There was no dull moment for Are, who was in the best of spirits throughout the entire proceedings. Surrounded by loved ones, he moved about with the agility and energy that belied his age.

A former chairman of the Nigerian Football Association, Williams, who doesn’t look his age ranks among Nigeria’s most stylish men. Single, not much has been heard about him, at least on the social scene.

The football enthusiast, whose 15-year-old marriage to his estranged wife, Remi, hit the rocks a few years ago, was seen recently. It was at the funeral ceremony of Toyin Raji’s mother in Lagos. Toyin, an ex-beauty queen came from the United States to bury her mother, who died a few days to Christmas.

Dressed in white native attire, Kodjo, who is a much-sought celebrity, entered the venue with socialite, Joke Sogunro, owner of Soggy’s Couture.

Just as they settled down to mix with other guests, Eunice Efole sauntered in and they exchanged banters throughout the ceremony. Though he has not been romantically linked with any lady, many are wondering what Kodjo has up his sleeves.
