She used to be the Director-General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation and host of the now rested television programme, Towards a Greater Nigeria, for many years.

Omotosho, who has a knack for wearing her headgear in a manner that is peculiar to her, favours traditional attire. Married to a pastor, she was a guest at a book launch where she entertained guests with the story of how she longed to have a male child and subsequently, she fell pregnant at the age of 50. According to her, she had to relocate abroad albeit temporarily to escape prying eyes.

To support her story, she introduced her ‘miracle son’ to the audience who applauded mother and child.

The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode and Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos have a father and son relationship. The latter supported the former’s bid to emerge the governor of the city of excellence. Expectedly, Ambode holds the traditional monarch in high esteem.

Perhaps in a bid to appreciate Akiolu’s good gestures, Ambode recently appointed Akiolu’s stepson, DSP Olumide Raheem as his Aide- de-Camp.

In his 30s, Raheem is the eldest son of Akiolu’s last wife, Olori Titi. A product of her first marriage, his father passed away in the 80s and he has three siblings. His youngest sibling, Busola, is married to one of the sons of Sir Steve Omojafor and another, Kemi is married into the popular Babalola family.

Olumide attended University of Lagos Staff School, Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Abeokuta and subsequently relocated to the United States of America for his university education. He is married to northern beauty, Zainab Umar.

An avid polo player, Kola made his presence felt on the social scene in Lagos last year by attending functions hosted by his ilk. Attired in a semiformal outfit, Maje was the cynosure of all eyes for reasons other than his athletic frame. It is safe to say that he was reticent while the event lasted.

During the eight-year tenure of former Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, Olowolafe’s companies enjoyed a generous patronage from the state government. He was said to have had   the ears of Fashola, who also doubled as his pal.

Not many knew the extent of his social clout and wealth until his daughter, Olanike, got married to Afolabi Anani, at a grand wedding which held in London, last year.

Olowolafe attracted the presence of the crème of society, most of who flew to London from Lagos and other parts of the world to felicitate with the couple and their families.
