Soft-spoken Bola Balogun is one of Nigeria’s finest stylists. A mother of five, Bola, who doubles as a fashion consultant, is also the CEO of Glam Networks. Her svelte figure makes it almost impossible to believe she has visited the labour room multiple times.

A fine dresser, saying she loves fashion and life is stating the obvious. These days, Bola who has consulted for top fashion brands in Nigeria and other parts of the world is not all about work. She loves to relax and relishes the company of her equally good-looking husband, Ishmael. It is commonplace to find them in company with each other. Recently, they were one the glamour couples that attended the launch of Arise News.

Closer to 50 than 40, Vivienne Chioloji is a top socialite. She was in a short-lived relationship with the popular owner of a luxury goods store, located in Lagos. Unbothered by the outcome of their relationship, she refused to cry over spilt milk.

However, her boisterous temperament suffered a blow last year, following the unexpected demise of her younger sister, Jennifer Chioloji, at a party in Imo State. Jennifer’s death sent shock waves down the spine of many and Vivienne was inconsolable for several months.

Almost one year after the unfortunate incident, Vivienne who subsequently went low-profile has regained her groove, though in a subtle manner. Already, she has been seen at intimate parties hosted by her ilk and we need not say her beauty has not waned.

Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, fondly called BRF is quite generous. It is no longer news that he visited rap artiste, Olamide’s Magodo, Lagos residence to felicitate with him and his baby mama, Bukunmi on the birth of their child.

Fashola’s visit was a surprise to the new parents and he left Bukunmi Suleiman even more surprised when he reportedly gifted her a sum of N500, 000. We also have it on good authority that the 20-year-old first time mum, who is a graduate of Covenant University, Ota and Olamide are scheduled to formalise their union before the end of the second quarter of 2015.

For many years, affluent businessman, Francis Ogboro, steered the affairs of the Lagos Polo Club. For more than five years, he was its president. This was before he fell out with some key members of the club and that marked his exit.

Although he went on to head a rival association, Nigeria Polo Federation, he ceased to be as famous as he used to be. Many attributed this to his decision to adopt a low-profile life.

Ogboro seems to have regained his groove. These days, he is usually seen attending functions hosted by his ilk looking refreshed and of course, a few years younger.

Long-time socialite, Adaobi Nwakuche was one of the most celebrated spinsters in the social circuit. This was before she married Fred Nwaeme at a lavish wedding that had in attendance the likes of Aliko Dangote and Olorogun Otega Emerhor. Unfortunately, the union did not stand the test of time and the couple split.

While Fred has allegedly remarried, Adaobi has remained single. Perhaps to cushion the effect of her failed marriage, she became a regular at parties hosted by her ilk. This remained so for many years until lately. These days, the good-looking Adaobi has lessened her appearance at soirees. Gone are the days when she was a staple at functions put together by her ilk.
