Ogunshola’s prestige was underscored by the quality of individuals who graced the occasion. Looking decades younger than three score and ten years, the ‘birthday boy’, who is married to Iyabo, was the spirit of the party as he laughed and danced away the evening with a remarkable energy for a man his age. The event also featured an outpouring of encomiums from family members, friends and associates of the illustrious son of Ibadan and Baaroyin of the ancient city.
The ace comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, was at his best as he spiced up the day with rib-cracking jokes.
