For many years, affluent businessman, Francis Ogboro, steered the affairs of the Lagos Polo Club. For more than five years, he was its president. This was before he fell out with some key members of the club and that marked his exit.
Although he went on to head a rival association, Nigeria Polo Federation, he ceased to be as famous as he used to be. Many attributed this to his decision to adopt a low-profile life.
Ogboro seems to have regained his groove. These days, he is usually seen attending functions hosted by his ilk looking refreshed and of course, a few years younger.
