One of the wonder men of banking in Nigeria, lawyer turned banker, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, is the former Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc. Many will recollect that he vacated the exalted position last year amid intense celebration.
Aigboje who will clock 50 next year shares a close affinity with Evelyn Oputu, the CEO of the Bank of Industry. To many people, their relationship rests on their related professional calling but it goes beyond that. Aigboje has been married to the eldest daughter of Oputu for many years. Little wonder the duo always back each other.
