They are no pushovers in politics. Pretty and stylish, these women tread where angels dread. Senator Joy Emordi, a lawyer, is the first female to emerge a senator from the South-East. She currently serves as the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters. Quite fashionable, there is no doubt that she is having the best of times in her political career. Now a constant feature on the social scene, you cannot but admire her glowing looks.
Uche Ekwunife is a member of the House of Representatives; she represents Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal Constituency. Young and pretty, she was a gubernatorial aspirant some years ago in Anambra State. Ekwunife is said to be close to Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan and sometimes travels with her on private visits within and outside Nigeria.
Both Emordi and Ekwunife have been a constant feature on the Lagos social scene and were sighted lately at some high-octane weddings. Not a few thronged their table to pay homage.
