In Rivers State, Dumo Lulu-Briggs has become some sort of a household name. A successful businessman, he steers the affairs of Moni Pulo, an oil exploration and production company. This is asides other companies where he also calls the shots.
He is of a laudable pedigree. His father is billionaire industrialist, Chief O.B. Lulu-Briggs. Dumo, who used to be silent about his wealth, has ceased to do so especially since he indicated his interest in politics. Many will not forget in a hurry the lavish celebrations that commemorated his 50th birthday. Those who were in doubt of the billionaire’s social clout were jolted by the sheer number of congratulatory adverts placed in national newspapers.
