Toyin Saraki’s unusual celebration

For the former Kwara State First Lady, Toyin Saraki, turning 50 is a big deal. Obviously, she is not one to allow the attainment go uncelebrated.

For many weeks, there had been several speculations on how she would commemorate five decades. With many postulating that Toyin, who is the founder of Wellbeing Foundation Africa, would host family and friends to a classy soiree, she chose to spring a surprise by opting for an unusual mode of celebration.

Paramount on the line up of activities scheduled to make merry, is a charity programme that will once more bring to fore her love for humanitarian services. Under the auspices of Alaafia Kwara, an initiative she established as a First Lady, she will fete the less-privileged in the state.

In addition to this, friends of Mrs. Saraki, who is a goodwill ambassador of the International Conference of Midwives, have set in motion, plans to honour her in one of the world’s famous capitals. The event will expectedly record the presence of famous personalities from all over the globe.
