A former chairman, Lagos Island Local Government, Mrs. Derin Disu, has set tongues wagging after her voluntary resignation as Special Adviser on Central Business Districts to Governor Babatunde Fashola. She hinged her reasons on the need to attend to family matters.
But some are of the opinion that there is more to her resignation than meets the eye. Disu, who is the eldest child of Nigeria’s doyen of insurance, Talabi Braithwaite, has kept mute on this matter but already, the wait is on to see what her next plans are.
