Until she quit the limelight a few years ago, Abiola Okoya was a darling of the paparazzi. Perhaps the most popular of her father, Alhaji Rasaq Okoya’s children, she was well-known on and off the social scene.
Distinct in her ways as well as her fashion, she ceased to make the party rounds some years ago. She sustained her no-appearance stance until last year when she resumed socialising. Of late, her absence has become pronounced again.
For instance, she was nowhere in sight when her father renewed his marital vows with his youngest wife, Sade, last month. Also, last weekend, she was absent at the wedding of her younger sibling, which held in Lagos amid pomp.
