In his 50s, Timi Alaibe is the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission. While his tenure lasted, he was popular within and outside political circles and has remained so long after he left office.
He was widowed a few years ago when his wife, Alaere, died after battling a terminal sickness. Even though he is yet to give matrimony another shot, he was once rumoured to be in a relationship with a former beauty queen.
A good dresser who favours Niger Delta attire, he has upped his game. Apart from his growing love for suits, his choice in casual wear cannot be faulted. At a reception hosted in honour of the newly appointed Managing Director of the NDDC, Mr. Bassey Dan-Abia, he settled for a red polo shirt and geek glasses that shaved many years off his biological age.
