It is no longer news that one of Nigeria’s modelling exports, Adeola Ariyo, was selected as the first ever African ambassador for the beauty company, Elizabeth Arden. Adeola, who started her modelling career at the age of 13, was one of the five finalists at the Mnet Nokia Face of Africa model search in 2005. This marked the onset of a lucrative international modelling career.
Unknown to many, Adeola is of a reputable pedigree. Her father, Akin Ariyo, is a well-known member of the social scene. He, alongside his wife, Yemi, own an A-class lighting and decor company which boasts an elitist clientele. The company, in the last few years, has been responsible for transforming Ajose Adeogun Street into a haven of sorts at yuletide.
