Now married to Dahiru Wada, Yemisi has over the years carved a niche for herself, not just on the social scene but also as a social worker. A philanthropist, she runs a Non Governmental Organisation that specialises in rehabilitating street kids.
At some point last year, her presence on the social scene reduced considerably.
Just as people wondered what was happening to the effervescent lady, she turned up at a shindig lately. It was the 70th birthday bash of Fola Olumide, a Lagos socialite. Saying she looked trendy is stating the obvious.
