It is no longer news that, political stalwart, Chief Tony Anenih, clocked four scores last week and there was lavish groove held in his honour. Away from this, the dailies were flooded with congratulatory messages from his well wishers who shelled out millions of naira to honour him. This show of affection afforded the observant ones the opportunity to know the women behind the man popularly known and addressed as Mr. Fix It.
In one of the dailies [not Punch], his wives engaged in an open display of affection. Employing endearing words, his older wife, Dame Patricia Anenih, placed a full page advert and had her beautiful picture inserted in one corner of the page. The octogenarian’s younger spouse, Justice Maryann Anenih, went a notch higher by placing two pages of advert and each had her picture.
