Things are indeed looking up for Ronke Ademiluyi again. She made her debut on the scene many years ago and she was highly sought after. In the wake of her fame, she established Rukkies, a boutique with one outlet each in Ikeja and Surulere, Lagos.
A few years down the line, each outlet bowed to economic pressure one after the other. Refusing to be cowed, Ademiluyi pioneered the African Fashion Week London last year. This year’s has taken a bigger dimension and has on board multi-millionaire businesswoman, Fifi Ejindu, and another multinational telecommunications firm as some of its sponsors.
